Start at HOME
The starting place is to find a bit of server space. I started with my own personal web space at the University of Minnesota and if you have an email address, you may also have some personal web space on your own ISP that can be used to get your chorus web page started. If you are using a free email system or an email address provided by you workplace, you may not have this but if you have a legitimate personal email address, you probably have some web space that you can use. All it takes is learning how to access it and your ISP web pages should have help on doing that.

Free Web Space Comes With A Price - Ads and Popups
Although you may locate some free web space for your chorus pages, I really don't recommend these since they insert the awful ad (sometimes just a tastful header but many times some very disturbing popup extra advertising pages which really annoy your visitors). Free is not free - someone has to pay.

Learn How To Construct A Web Page
One can do this by writing the code manually as I do or by using an application to do this for you (Microsoft Front Page is a low cost tool generally use on PC computers and Claris Home Page is a low cost tool used for Macs). The free web sites also have some nice builder tools that aid in construction web pages. Check out the following:

Link Your Page To AMCA International
Send your web page link to me (David Thomas, AMCA Web Manager) and I will link you to several places on the AMCA web site so others can find you from the AMCA Site.
    I would then encourage you to include the AMCA Highlights Bulletin Board Feed on your web page so that AMCA items would be displayed as a bulletin board on your page. It would be a great way to show cooperation among AMCA Choruses. AMCA Choruses can send their events to me for installation on this bulletin board and then it would be displayed on the Bulletin Board on all web sites that use the AMCA Highlights Bulletin Board Feed.
