Topic: Christmas In South St Paul Videos on YouTube
Comments: Each Christmas season the SSPMC participates in "Christmas in South Saint Paul". This year some video of the performance has been edited into short clips and uploaded to YouTube. The link below is of the SSPMC. Be sure to listen to the beginning narration which explains why this song was in a Christmas show. The preceeding narration in the show talked about the history of South Saint Paul and the fact that the stockyard was closed in 2008. So we sang the Auctioneer and dressed up in memory of the stockyard.

South Saint Paul Male Chorus Membership

You are invited to join us at a rehearsal......

The South Saint Paul Male Chorus is a group of men that enjoys singing. We sing a variety of music (except very little barber shop type music). Some of our voices are semi-trained, but most of us are just ordinary singers who enjoy male chorus music and fellowship.

If you would like to be a part of a vibrant dynamic male chorus, just come to a rehearsal some Monday evening. We meet in the South Saint Paul High School choir room from 7:00-9:00 PM. (September through May)

• To find the choir room, enter the High School east entrance which is near the south end of the parking lot along 6th Ave. Once inside go up the first stairs on the right, turn right at the top of the stairs and then right again at the next hallway. Continue past the elevator and then left into the second classroom. If you miss the choir room and find the band room instead, turn around.(df)

The SSPMC sings at the VFW (Post #295) as they celebrated their 90th Anniversary on Dec 20, 2009.

The SSPMC sings at a Burnsville Chamber of Commerce community benefit for the Food Shelf on May 9, 2009 ... "A Community That Sings" was held at the "Lutheran Church of the Ascension" in Burnsville, MN.
